The New Clue? Mystery Express Announced

I just got an email from the folks at “Days of Wonder” games and it looks like they have a new murder mystery game coming out soon.  ”Mystery Express” is a game of suspense, deduction, and murder on the Orient Express.

Mystery Express is a whodunit deduction game from Days of Wonder. The murder that takes place on the Orient Express incorporates 5 different elements represented by a set of Crime cards. Players take on the role of one of 5 traveling characters, each who has their own special powers of deduction. The player who figures out the who, what, when, where and why of the murder before the end of the journey wins.

Designed by Antoine Bauza and Serge Laget, “Mystery Express” looks to be this decade’s answer to the Hasbro classic, “Clue.”  While we obviously haven’t gotten our hands on a copy yet, I’m curious to see what the differences are between “Mystery Express” and the age old standby.
